Pumpkin Panna Cotta Recipe – Naturally Gluten Free
Years ago we were on cruise and one of the few desserts I could have was a Panna Cotta. I had never had one prior to that and I just immediately loved it. Cool, creamy and sweet… how can ya go wrong??
The only problem was that I had never actually made them. Upon our return I set out to learn how to make them… and it has defiantly become one of our favorites. I was telling my friend Maddi about our upcoming cruise and how excited we were about going. One of the fond memories I shared was the night that I ate three Panna Cottas despite the fact that my Handsome Hubby was shocked about my indulgence. She asked me what flavor and I told her vanilla bean. She said considering how much I love pumpkin stuff she asked me if I had made those yet. Well I had not even thought of it… but she got me hooked up with her family’s Pumpkin Panna Cotta recipe… She said that they like to make them instead of pumpkin pie over the holidays because it has that traditional taste and yet it has a new twist.
So I just made them and I totally agree. What a wonderful treat!!
What is your new twist on a traditional favorite??
Gluten Free Glazed Pumpkin Cookies Recipe
Pumpkin Pumpkin Pumpkin!!
I am definitely team pumpkin!!
If you are team pumpkin you are going to adore these soft pumpkin cookies!!
There are the “unusual” ingredients in these… but don’t worry they are gluten free. I actually did a product review on it so Check out the LorAnn Oils Gluten Free Product review HERE. The great thing about this product is that it adds a punch of pumpkin flavoring!! I is definitely worth buying because if you are team pumpkin your are going to make the most of this product in other recipes as well. Just keep in mind this is NOT extract and a very little goes a long way!!
These fantastic any time of the year but especially in the fall and winter!! They also make great cookies to gift!!
NOTE: I have made these cookies without the pumpkin flavoring… still good just not as pumpkin-ing
Pumpkin Pie Spiced Buttercream Frosting Recipe – Naturally Gluten Free
I noticed that I had quite a few gluten free sugar cookie and cake mixes in the pantry. I wanted to use them, yet I wanted to be festive in this “pumpkin season”
This is an old favorite recipe that I have had for years. Funny thing is “back then” it was not the hip and trendy thing to eat so much pumpkins spiced stuff.
Just like an old pair of shoes I have had locked away in my closet, that is now trendy again… foods can be the same… In fact I find it pretty funny how something from ages ago can be so hip and trendy so many years later. Which is exactly the reason I can not seem to get anything out of my closet even when it’s way out of style. I think this is the frosting that was on a spiced cake and yet I have used it on quite a few things… pretty much anything that I wanted to frost in the fall season.
What is your favorite thing that has become so hip and trendy again?? Clothing, cars, an old record player, a favorite recipe from yesteryear?

Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice Recipe
It’s the start of the “pumpkin spiced season” and I am out!! I am way to lazy today to get in the car and drive to the grocery store and get some more…. OkI will admit it here to you now… I am also way too cheap to buy it. It might be one of my biggest kitchen secrets over the past few years… I have been making on my own and refilling the store bought jar in my spice rack.
Ok… I admitted my dirty little secret to you and now I am suggesting you do the same thing.. think of it this way… they always telling us to use fresh spices in your cooking and baking and YET there are just not that many recipes I make using cloves, ginger, and allspice. So if I didn’t use these spices to make my own pumpkin pie spice, which I use ALLLLLL the time, these spices would be in my spice rack for years and either I would be using old spices or I would be replacing them every year without using them up… and either way it would be a shame!!
Now, of course, if you want to continue to to buy your pumpkin spice that works too!! I am all about enjoying the pumpkin spice season… that is what is important here.. I just want you to know you have options!!

Sour Cream Cloud Bread:
I am thrilled that so many people like it as much as Handsome Husband and I do.
Today I am not sharing a specific recipe … more like an idea that we enjoyed.
We took our cloud bread and slightly toasted it.
Then we smeared some gluten free cheery pie filling on it.
Smothered it in some whipped cream.
Drizzled some gluten free chocolate sauce over it.
BAM!! Black Forrest Cloud Bread!!
Let me tell you… it was wonderful! It was also decadent with a little less guilt involved.
What is your favorite way to use cloud bread?? What is the most unusual thing you have done with it? We would love to hear from you!!
